How can it be May already? The last time I checked on the calendar, it was March 28; help no. 1 was leaving, and we were frantic to find a replacement. Today, it’s May 17. We have replacement help and her son. We’re not practicing child labor, I promise! You’ll find the details of that story here. But I digress. Did I really pass almost two whole months eating, traveling, and horsing about?

You should know, I blame horseplay for this daze, I really do. If my sibs and I hadn’t been too occupied gamboling here and there, I might have noticed the passing of days more.

Gamboling how, you ask?

Gamboling like this, I answer.

Got game?

I’m sure you already know this but just in case you don’t, here’s a nice little word for the day: gambol. To gambol means to run or jump about in a playful way. As far as definitions go, it doesn’t get any easier than that. I know, because once upon a time, I wrote instructional materials for ESL students with level 1 (and gasp, even level 0!) English.

Oh, and my apologies for killing your browser. I’m sure I did, with this photo-intensive page. :P
